Really sorry to hear this!

I went through many school years with Lora.  Many sleep overs in the 6th grade and birthday parties.

I remember all her energy and enthusiasm! She was fun to be with and hang around.

God Bless her lovely soul.

Awwwwww, sad!  I'll always remember her as the tiny, talented ballerina. Easy to envision her with angel wings!

This is terribly sad news. Lora was a bright shiny star; always smiling, always happy and full of joy. I know she was planning on coming to the reunion if she felt up to it; obviously that didn't happen. Dance away Lora, Rest in Peace.

I remember sitting in the front row of DruryLaneTheatre in Oakbrook. Waiting for the curtain to rise on a beautiful musical Singing in the Rain. The curtain rose and there she was lora Martens, in the lead role. Our very own Debbiie Reynolds. At intermission, the curtain started closing and I yelled,"Hey lora"from my seat and there she was waving and waving yelling "Timmons" right back at me
as the curtain kept lowering. I shall always remember that day! My heart is broken to hear of her passing. She was a light on the stage and she was a light in our school. My condolences to her family, she will be missed, but left us all with her special style and love of life and kindness to all who knew her.

Love,

"TIMMONS"

I talked to Lora a month before our 50th reunion.   She wanted to go so bad, but her doctor did not think she should make the trip.    Lora was there in spirt.

Always so fun and upbeat.     RIP

Photo is from the 40th reunion.   Main St.  GE serving up Bloody Mary's to the classmates on the 73 float.

So very sad to see any of our classmates pass away. She was a very talented soul and such a sweet heart.

I remember Lora from our Ben Franklin days. My mom used to tell me how Lora helped me push my younger brother around in his stroller. She had a sweet spirit always 😇
