About a month ago I came across Bob's obituary in my papers. I remember Bob talking about making that trip with Mark Stange and asking if anyone else wanted to go. Two guys who died too young.
Lots of memories of Bob, most of them good (except the time we got picked up by the police). He was a good guy.
Bob was a really good hockey player and his father coached the sport at the Elmhurst YMCA outdoor rink before he built the Downers Grove(?) indoor rink. I loved trying to play with Bob, but never really got good enough to be in his league.
