So sorry to be reading this. Rob was a great guy and we lived 15 miles apart in Utah for a long time and never knew it till I was moving to Tennessee. Rob, you will be missed...
I was fortunate to spend some time with Rob and his wife at our last class reunion in 2018. He was always so kind and funny. I have know him since elemenatry school in GE. Rob, you will be missed. Peace.
Rob was one of my favorite classmates, always smiling, upbeat, and with a kind word to say. And he did a great job in some of our high school plays! Although I haven't seen him since our 20 year class reunion, it is still so sad to think of him as being gone. Live life to the fullest, as time marches on too quickly.
Oh, no--it's so sad to hear about Rob (and all our classmates that have gone on to the next adventure).I remember him as fun, a really nice guy and always smiling.
I moved to Glen Ellyn when I was 10 years old and Rob was one of the first new people I met when school started. Truth be told, I had a crush on him. He was friendly, kind and smart. I hope he had a good life and is now free to run with the angels.
Thanks for posting the obituary link Lynn. Fascinating life.
I did not know Rob well, but do have fond memories of him from some PE classes and his intense interest in Navy ROTC. Interesting that the obituary said nothing about whether he went into the Navy. I thought he earned a scholarship.
